The Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer is an executive management position that leads SWBC’s marketing team and develops a vision for company-wide activities and strategies focused on generating, maintaining, and increasing revenue. This role creates strategies to integrate and align functions across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Customer Success, and others, to achieve revenue targets and grow demand for the company’s product and services. The Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer will inspire the strategic vision, voice, and style of the SWBC brand. They will conduct market research, set goals, implement plans, execute the vision, and maintain the appropriate brand image of the company.
Essential duties include the following:
Establishes analytics and methods to measure and forecast demand and market conditions, identify operational deficiencies, and develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies.
Conducts research to identify internal and external opportunities to expand and optimize revenue-producing activities.
Establishes targets, policies, and internal processes to achieve efficiencies in revenue generation and capture.
Directs the development, implementation, and execution of SWBC’s digital marketing strategy.
Directs and works with marketing management team to form business plans and strategies to accomplish corporate objectives.
Develops and executes multi-channel plans to drive new customer acquisition, determining the optimal channel mix, creative message, and budget allocation.
Manages and directs marketing policies, objectives, and programs for all products and services for the organization.
Oversees market research, product planning, and advertising functions for all products and services.
Elevates the brand in the enhancement of the value proposition, content strategy and overall company brand experience.
Stays up to date with current trends, technology, and best practices.
Designs, plans, and executes effective marketing campaigns.
Develop metrics and execute consistent review and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness, impact and engagement of communications and marketing programs and special projects
Attends business, civic, and social functions to achieve visibility and support SWBC’s objectives, image, and brand.
Develop and execute a public relations strategy that cultivates strong relationships with media representatives and agencies to create opportunities for growing the thought leadership position of the company and its solutions in the financial services industry.
Create unique and effective strategic marketing and branding initiatives to assist divisional and corporate revenue and gross profit goals.
Builds a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field from an accredited college or four-year university required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of marketing experience, with at least ten (10) years of strategic leadership experience.
Excellent analytical skills: able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics to approach marketing strategy.
Setting and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned to the overall business objectives for the market, including long term strategic activities and short-term lead generation
Advanced knowledge of leading a marketing team through establishing a clear direction developing and empowering a team and auditing performance to ensure consistent execution.
Excellent written, public speaking, and presentation skills with demonstrated experience with executive audiences.
Experience in public relations, lead generation, digital, video, social media, events, communications, and branding.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiating and presentation skills.
Able to travel locally or nationally by car or plane.
