Minimum qualifications:
15 years of experience in digital marketing, location based advertising, performance marketing, measurement solutions, and business development.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and partnerships with operations and product organizations.
Experience in global sales leadership and developing team members and managing business goals.
Experience developing and presenting thought leadership narratives and organizational roadmaps to audiences.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience in running vendor sales operations and channel management.
Experience selling across a multitude of industry functions (e.g., Fuel, Auto, Retail, Finance, QSR).
Experience collaborating with and influencing Product and Engineering organizations and experience in global markets.
Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and with management at all levels.
Ability to solve complex business problems, individually or in a group setting.
Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.

About The Job

In this role, you challenge the status quo and exceed goals while creating long-term client relationships and success. You will lead scale and innovation as a key member of the global Waze leadership team. You’ll grow, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team that uses consultative business skills to understand our advertisers’ needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. In addition, to setting strategic objectives and running the day-to-day operations for the business.

You will work with Waze Leadership team alongside peers including the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Marketing, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief HR Officer, and Heads of Finance and Growth. As part of the Waze Leadership team, you will play a critical role in the overall strategy, culture, and direction of Waze and will be exposed to and impact every element of the business. You will also build relationships with counterparts at Google.

You will provide excellent client service, research, and market analysis. You will also anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Waze’s clients and understand how our product can grow their business.

Waze’s sales team is the link that connects drivers with businesses both big and small. With millions of drivers using Waze, you have access to a platform that can aid businesses in reaching thousands of potential local customers on their mobile devices. We are looking for individuals who are familiar with the world of advertising and who are self starters, team players and ready to be part of a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Manage a global team and a small/medium business (SMB) leadership team with several vendor business organizations and will be responsible for maximizing motivation, success, impact, and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Waze leadership team to establish growth strategies in planning and execution.
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations to develop ways to continue to increase partner engagement and stay aligned on overall growth goals in all of our focus markets.
Provide thought leadership through implementing growth best practices, identifying and testing opportunities, and developing strategies to accelerate Waze user growth.
Deliver on the business growth commitments.
