Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
13 years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, management consulting, or project management.
Experience working with executive clients or stakeholders.
Experience in people management, including developing a team.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree.
Experience planning and managing at strategic and operational levels.
Experience in prioritizing deliverables and tasks, leading data-driven analyses, and organizing results.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Ability to create a roadmap and build to scale, with excellent business judgment.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

About The Job

The Google Cloud Sales Strategy and Operations team plays an important role in Google Cloud, acting as trusted advisors to the Sales Organization, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners, and the Professional Sales Organization to plan, strategize, and run the business. As the Head of Sales Strategy and Operations, you will assist in defining and executing on strategic priorities for the North America Sales team for our West Region. In this role, you will help lead planning, field engagement models, scale strategy, expansion plans, and manage business activities. You will also manage a team of Analysts, Sales Strategists, and Operations Managers.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales leadership to develop the organization’s strategy and business plan, and become part of the leadership team as a trusted advisor of Google Cloud.
Work with cross-functional organizations within Google Cloud to drive alignment, collaborate on execution, and achieve business goals.
Manage annual/quarterly planning processes, including development of business plans, operating models, resource allocation, market segmentation, and field engagement models.
Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and developing recommendations.
Manage a team of regional sales operations professionals that will mentor, develop, and plan long-term growth.
