The Freddie Mac Single-Family Marketing Team is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Marketing leader who will embrace our brand, evolve our marketing operations, impeccably execute our integrated marketing initiatives and manage a very talented marketing team.
We deliver broad and customized go-to-market strategies, B2B marketing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement to meet our overall business objectives.
We develop internal/external marketing and communications campaigns, products and services – keeping our clients’ needs top of mind and helping them navigate our business practices.
We collaborate with internal stakeholders to steadily advance our sales enablement tools and capabilities to stay ahead of our competitors.

Effective Strategic Marketing and Operations
Provide strategic marketing and communications counsel, assessment, team leadership, integrated planning and execution in support of Freddie Mac’s Single-Family business units and cross-functional teams.
Manage marketing operational functions including campaign performance, editorial, content marketing, email automation, campaign integration and analytics.
Lead Single-Family MarComm campaign performance analytics: analyzing web engagement and digital marketing data and translate information into actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop and maintain standard reporting measures, quantitative explanation of relevant data and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions.
Foster an inclusive environment which promotes active engagement, intellectual curiosity, and skill development to support marketing and communications program development and execution.
Help the larger MarComm team identify and understand trends, extrapolate key observations, and connecting the dots to provide actionable insights and opportunities to improve or enhance marketing efforts, both in post-mortem analysis of completed campaigns, and on-the-fly recommendations for ongoing efforts.
Develop email marketing strategies and best practices to advance segmentation and account-based marketing opportunities.
Create marketing summaries and executive reports and host quarterly meetings with business partners to share the marketing vision and show campaign/program results.
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Establish and direct strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively collaborate and advance our marketing objectives.
Oversee marketing integration to ensure alignment across key marketing partners.
Provide oversight to marketing style guide enhancements, Single-Family positioning and brand elements.
Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
Demonstrated People Skills
Regularly interact with senior management on matters concerning marketing performance, functional support areas, and client outreach.

Establishes operational objectives and work plans; delegates assignments to subordinate managers.

Creates development plans for all direct reports; provides appropriate and timely coaching sessions and conducts annual performance reviews.
4-year College Degree or equivalent experience, advanced studies/degree preferred
12+ years related experience with a minimum of 4+ years in a managerial role
Financial Services experience desired, Mortgage industry experience preferred
Proficiency with setting and monitoring Marketing Metrics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, Google Analytics.
Excellent written, verbal and editing skills
