Job Purpose and Impact
The Sales (Commercial Excellence) Financial Planning & Analysis Director will provide strategic financial leadership in establishing the vision and strategy of financial planning and analysis for Commercial Excellence, a complex global function. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team to provide insight into customer profitability, value creation and growth opportunities through a deep understanding of the relationships between revenues, costs and returns. You will also bring market perspective through effective and creative benchmarking, drive financial performance and growth, enable understanding of product and customer profitability and evaluate investment opportunities.
Provide strategic partnership to the function leader, bringing perspective on varying aspects of the business strategy.
Direct the identification and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to create, maintain and preserve value within a complex global function and focuses management on the most significant risks and opportunities.
Partner with various stakeholders to support new and existing customer activities including business transactions, monitoring the performance of customers and providing resolutions to limit risks and maximize returns.
Lead the design, development and implementation of value-added business analytics and seeks external benchmarking to provide insights to drive targeted actions.
Partners closely with other functions and business managers to ensure strategies are accomplished, leveraging accounting and finance resources for key support, information and data.
Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
Confirmed ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and concise manner, enabling improved decision making and deeper business insight
Experience integrating and interpreting disparate sources of data by leveraging a broad range of analytical data tools, statistical methodologies and predictive modeling techniques
Master’s degree or other post-secondary degree in finance, economics or accounting
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
