Position Overview

Member of the travel leadership team responsible for overseeing the travel business line financial performance of the branch locations of AAAWCNY.

 

Job Responsibilities

35% Performance Management- Provide coaching and feedback to travel management and member facing associates. Focus on brand management to insure Preferred Vendor sales meet AAA National Requirements. Manage partner reporting for trend analysis. Understand and drive development of market segments, the potential for deeper relationships and growth strategies. Focus on increased revenue margin for member facing associates. Support goals of the organization.

25% Leadership- Identify, recruit and retain top performing employees; manage non-performing employees in accordance with company policy. Manage the intent to motivate, train and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance. Make well-informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, use sound judgement, exhibit autonomy, and execute.

25% Organizational Development- Provide advice and guidance to management and associates about upcoming travel initiatives. Support process initiatives by meeting regularly with travel leadership to discuss current and upcoming actions, events or issues. Collaborate with branch managers and member facing sales team to ensure they have the tools to exceed their sales expectations and goals.

15% Job Knowledge- Work in accordance with our Travel standard operating procedures and ensure adherence to AAA policies and procedures. Assist with training and development plans when needed and make decisions in a timely manner.

Job Specific Requirements

Demonstrated experience in working with and understanding financial performance of business lines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office product.
Demonstrated excellent listening, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and provide feedback to others on a team.
