Great question. It is made harder by the roll ups that have happened in this space in the last couple of years. A leader…Terralign was bought by MapAnything…then they were bought by SFDC. It is my understanding that the current SFDC product is a derivative of those two with and SFDC twist. Terralign was the absolute best in this space. One strong place to look is Varicent. They have ‘sales planning’ tools that include territory mapping and planning. They then feed directly into the quota and compensation planning / admin tools. Here are two more…that are more single purpose: AlignStar (from Xactly) and GeoPointe. The tech in this space is aging poorly…and many of the players are geared toward ‘route planning’ and not exactly a good fit for IT services companies. Varicent, AlignStar and the SFDC tool are likely best options. Look at this article to see all the others who say they are in this space: https://www.badgermapping.com/blog/best-sales-mapping-software-tools/#badger
@nancy-nardin do you have any input on this?
